For all uses: · Carefully wipe the outside of the bowl (especially the bottom). Make sure that there are no foreign residues underneath the bowl and on the heating element. · Place the bowl into the appliance, making sure that it is correctly positioned. Fig. 6 · Slightly rotate the bowl in both directions, to ensure good contact between the bottom of the bowl, the sensor and the heating plate. 6 If the bowl is not properly in place, the appliance will not start. Note: Always add the rice first otherwise you will have too much water. · Choose the menu Congee/Rice Soup 1 hr using the Menu button, the appropriate light will flash. · At the end of the cooking period, the appliance will beep and automatically switch over to keep warm. 13 · Put the required quantity of rice in the bowl and then fill up with cold water to the required mark printed in the bowl. Note: Always add the rice first otherwise you will have too much water. · Choose the menu Congee/Rice Soup 2 hr using the Menu button, the appropriate light will flash.
