Control
If the appliance is installed with the hinges next to a wall Fig. 5 (4), the distance between appliance and wall has to be at least 40 mm. This corresponds to the projection of the handle when the door is open. The display shows the last set brightness value.

The child-proofing function enables you to make sure that the appliance is not inadvertently switched off by playing children.

The audible alarm sounds if the freezer temperature is not cold enough. 3 (6) goes out and the temperature display stops flashing when the temperature is sufficiently cold again. If the alarm status persists: (see Malfunction).
5 Control
5. 1 Brightness of the temperature display
You can adjust the brightness of the temperature display to the light conditions of the room in which the appliance is installed.

The brightness is adjustable between h 0 (minimum brightness) and h 5 (maximum brightness). 3 (7).
