Advancing
When an item is selected on the menu screen with the [ENTER] or the numerical buttons, advance is made to the next lower menu level. When the advance destination is the "scene" to be played, the contents will be played. · When several menus (scenes) can be selected in each level, screen switching is possible with the [¢] (NEXT) and [4] (PREV. ).
Returning
Each time the [RETURN] is pressed, return is made to the next higher menu.

Setting the sound mode
EX. BASS
Press [EX. BASS] to reinforce treble, bass and the surround effect. : "EX. BASS ON" Ô "NORMAL" : "EX. BASS ON" = "MP3 -- OPT ON"* = "NORMAL". *This function optimizes for compressed MP3/WMA files.
Playing a Disc

Open the disc tray : Insert a disc : Close the disc tray : To start playback : To stop playback : Resume playback stops.
EQ (EQUALIZER Effect)
You can choose 7 fixed sound impressions. Each time you press [EQ] the setting changes in the display window as shown below. (AUTO EQ operates only in the MP3/ WMA files which include the Tag information. ) "NORMAL" = "(AUTO EQ )" = "POP" = "CLASSIC" = "ROCK" = "JAZZ".

Playing a DVD or Video CD that has a menu
Most DVD or Video CD now have menus which load first before the film begins to play. You can navigate these menus using [% fi @ #] or number button to highlight an option. (Virtual Front Sound)
Press [V. F. S. ] to set the virtual front sound or to change sound mode repeatdly. - When you press [Rec] during V. F. S. , appointed sound mode return to BYPASS. · 2. 1Ch source : 3D STEREO Realtime 3D positioned sound rendering technology with stereo sources, optimized for stereo speakers.
