Direct Printing
If you are using Windows operating system, use the supplied DIGITAL VIDEO SOLUTION DISK For Windows. If you are using Macintosh operating system, use the supplied DIGITAL VIDEO SOLUTION DISK For Macintosh.
This manual covers the installation and the connection procedures only. For more operating instructions, refer to the PDF format manual provided on the DIGITAL VIDEO SOLUTION DISK For Windows.

2. Locate the scene you wish to insert and pause playback shortly before the scene. Set the camcorder to PLAY (VCR) mode and load a recorded cassette.
Use a tape recorded in SP mode and make sure that the tape-protect switch is set to allow recording.
4. Locate the scene you wish to replace and pause playback shortly before the scene. Press the AV INSERT button on the wireless controller.
"AV INSERT" and "2a" appear.
12bit AUDIO OUT AUDIO DUB. Press the PAUSE a button on the wireless controller when the scene you wish to insert appears.
ZERO SET MEMORY REW 12bit AUDIO OUT AUDIO DUB. Press the STOP 3 button on the wireless controller to stop inserting.

9. Connected device: Stop playback.
You cannot insert from a TV program when the synchronised signals are distorted. Connected device: AV insert may not work correctly if the tape has a blank section or changes in the recording mode. AV insert cannot be performed when the quality of the recording is poor, or during special playback such as fast forward, rewind, playback pause, slow playback etc. The camcorder will automatically stop AV insert at that point.

Audio Dubbing
You can add sound from audio devices (AUDIO IN) or with the built-in microphone (MIC. This function is operated with the wireless controller.
